How Growing City Composting works!

Growing City is the simple, clean and convenient way to bring composting to your office and business events. 

By implementing our service your business can responsibly reduce its waste by up to 40% - while making a positive impact on global warming and limiting your contribution to local landfills.

Growing City provides your office with our Compo-Capusule which is lined with a biodegradable cornstarch bag.  Place organic waste in the Compo-Capsule and once a week a Growing City team member will empty, clean and freshen the bin. One month later your waste is soil!

We use Growing City Pure Clean, an all natural, antibacterial cleaner we developed locally with an aromatherapist - so it won’t irritate and smells great! 

Once the Compo-Capsule is placed in your office kitchen, the only thing your team needs to do is fill it - Growing City does the rest.

We happily accept food waste, coffee grinds and filters, paper towels, bamboo cutlery, cut flowers, biodegradable plates and more.  Please see our handy list of acceptable materials or feel free to contact us if you should have any questions.
